In Chapter 3 of A Red Kayak by Priscilla Cummings, we meet JT and Digger who are Brady's best friends. There are many valuable things in life, but I think friendship is one of the most important. Friendship is constant interaction with someone or a group of people. You find things you have in common, or what you like or dislike. Human interaction is necessary to survive. Friendship is important to me because it makes me feel like I am not alone in a world that is filled with trillions of people. Friends are there for you when the whole world is against you making you not care about what the rest of the world thinks. Friends will know you best and help you through times of struggle. I think a good friend is someone who knows you best and can see through the times of struggle. Instead of putting you down they will not only pull you back up, but carry you to the finish line. Along with being kind and caring, they will make you laugh and sometimes can be the only thing that made you smile that day. In the end friendship isn't a big thing, it is smashed and broken into little things that at the end of the day turn the frown into a curve.
